Sclerotherapy effectively targets varicose and spider veins through the injection of sclerosant solution via an ultra-fine needle directly into the blood vessel.
With no downtime or surgery, this advanced treatment is well established and renowned for long-lasting results.
The sclerosant solution injected into the blood vessels causes the lining to swell and stick together. Over the following weeks, veins will fade and disappear. Some may need several treatment sessions.
We treat varicose veins first, as thread or spider veins connected to them may disappear over a few weeks without treatment. Treatment sessions are spaced accordingly to keep the treatment needed to a minimum.

Yes – Veinwave can effectively treat rosacea (long-term redness across the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin) and facial thread veins. It can also be used to target blood spots (also known as purpura).
This depends on the veins being treated – we’ll advise in full during your free consultation.
There’s no downtime with either treatment. Some clients experience mild redness and bruising where injections have been made.
Sclerotherapy does carry a risk of permanent skin staining – although most staining is temporary.
Both Veinwave and sclerotherapy are pain free. Needles used are extremely fine and most clients can only feel a mild tingling or pin-prick sensation.
