Fat dissolving injections — commonly known by the brand name Aqualyx — are a non-surgical body contouring treatment that targets and permanently eliminates localised pockets of stubborn fat.
Aqualyx works by injecting a CE-marked aqueous solution directly into the fat deposit. The solution contains ingredients that bind to fat cell walls, rupturing them and releasing the fat to be dissolved and expelled naturally by the body. Once those fat cells are gone, they don’t come back — as long as a stable weight is maintained, results are permanent.
This is not a weight loss treatment.
